Puppy In A Dress (Tobuscus/Toby Turner X Reader)

You snuggled deeper into the blankets, trying desperately to stay warm, when you heard a whimper near your head. You peered over the edge of the couch to see Gryphon shivering, and immediately picked him up and wrapped him in the blankets with you.

“Hey __y/n__ have you seen Gryphon? I need to put his swea-“ Your boyfriend, Toby, trailed off when he saw both yours and Gryphon’s heads peeking out through a mass of blankets.

“Gryphon! You traitor!” You cried out as the dog wiggled out of the blankets and ran to Toby, wagging his tail excitedly.

“Aw Gryphon loves his daddy oh yes he does.” Toby said in a baby voice as he slipped the sweater over the dog, before gently sticking his legs through the arm holes. You watched intently as Toby switched to his “Gryphon voice”, narrating what he was doing from Toby’s point of view.

“What?” Toby asked curiously when he saw you staring at him. You crawled out from the cocoon of blankets and kneeled next to Toby.

“You’re just cute, is all.” You said with a smile, before leaning over and giving him a swift kiss. Toby grinned at you, before picking up Gryphon and running to the couch. He burrowed into your mound of blankets, leaving you out in the cold.

“Hey! Make room for me!” You said indignantly as you squeezed in with them. Toby wrapped an arm around your waist, and pulled your back into his chest, cuddling you into him. You leaned gratefully into the warmth he provided, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

“Do you wanna watch a movie?” Toby suggested after a moment of silence.

“Sure. Where’s the remote?” You glanced out of the blanket fort, and saw that the remote was next to the TV, which was all the way across the room. You let out a groan, and collapsed back into Toby’s chest. Toby however, was intent on watching a movie, and as such, proceeded to shove you out of the blankets, off the couch, and into the cold room. You growled at him, before running across the room and grabbing the remote. You sprinted back towards the couch and hopped on, completely squishing Toby.

“Oww! Get off!” You could hear Toby’s muffled response to your attack, and smirked, before getting off and snuggling back into the warm nest of blankets. Toby scowled at you as you turned the TV on and went to Netflix, before snatching the remote from your hand.

“Hey! I got the remote; I get to pick the movie!” You huffed angrily, but Toby just stuck his tongue out at you and proceeded to pick some comedy you had both seen a dozen times before. You grumbled throughout the first ten minutes until Toby spun you around so that you were facing him, and proceeded to slam his lips onto yours. You stayed like that for quite a while, until Toby pulled away, leaving you sputtering for breath.

“I…hate…you…” You managed to pant out after a moment.

“Of course you do.” Toby said with a smirk before spinning you back around and snaking his arm around your waist. You scowled, but after a moment a smile spread across your face and you relaxed into his touch. Hey, at least you weren’t cold anymore.
