I sense there's something in the wind
That seems like tragedy's at hand
You had noticed that ever since Haruhi had met the twins, Hikaru was acting different. He was more distant to Kaoru and you, and it hurt you deeply. What did you do wrong? You had been friends with them since you were young, and now he was practically throwing you away for Haruhi.
And though I'd like to stand by him
Can't shake this feeling that I have
The worst is just around the bend
You wanted to once again be the person he told everything to, and watch movies with when Kaoru fell asleep. You missed how he would lazily drape his arm around your shoulders when you sat next to each other on the couch, or how he’d pointlessly take your stuff and tease you. You missed him.
And does he notice my feelings for him?
And will he see how much he means to me?
I think it's not to be
You knew that Hikaru was a bit blind to people’s feelings, but you had actually started hoping that he liked you back. Why couldn’t he see it? You knew you weren’t the best at flirting, but you didn’t try to flirt with him. You were just yourself around him, and you thought that that was enough.
What will become of my dear friend?
Where will his actions lead us then?
What would happen if he did act upon his feelings for Haruhi? You knew he had them, even if he didn’t admit it; you saw how his eyes lit up whenever he looked or talked about her, and it broke your heart every damn time. How would Tamaki react, when he himself had feelings for the brunette? How would the Host Club function when two of its members were pining after another member?
Although I'd like to join the crowd
In their enthusiastic cloud
Try as I may, it doesn't last
You tried to be happy for him, you really did. But it stung. Not only were you losing your crush, but you had also lost your best friend. With a sigh, you stood up from the twins table, and walked out of the Host Club. Hikaru was too busy bothering Haruhi, who was also seated at the twins table, and Kaoru had to entertain the girls who came to the Host Club. You walked out of the Host Club, knowing that no one would even realize you were gone.
And will we ever end up together?
No, I think not, it's never to become
For I am not the one
End.

Kaoru x Reader -- Easy
The small neighbourhood downtown was running steadily with streams of people flowing into gift shoppes, around outdoor delis, and against pretty picture window storefronts. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, but no one had the heart to stay inside with such paradisiac weather. The sky was robin’s egg blue with only whispers of trailing clouds nearly invisible for the lemondrop sun above. The kind of weather that both fatcats and commoners could appreciate, a young man thought to himself. He seemed to blend in well enough just another highschool beau, looking mischievous and absolutely charming seated upon a short brick wall bet

Chapter 9: Hikaru Ending~
“Oh, hey Hikaru. You’re not dancing?” You smiled. He shrugged. “Dances aren’t really my thing. I’m only here because Kaoru is.” You nodded. “Yea…this kind of stuff is still pretty new to me.” You admitted. He looked at you. “Oh, do you want to leave then?” He asked. You looked at him, surprised. “Leave?” He nodded. “I could get Kaoru to cover for use if Kyouya asks.” You relaxed a bit, that had actually been what you were worried about. You were still a bit hesitant. “I don’t know… are you sure about t

“I CAN’T!” Kaoru shouted for the last time. He was getting frustrated with Hikaru because Hikaru wouldn’t leave him alone about the girl he liked…you.
“She won’t know if you don’t tell her!” Hikaru said in a stern voice. “You just have to man up and talk to her!”
Meanwhile on the other side of the room…..
“Another day with those two going at it over this girl.” Haruhi sighed.
“Should we help Kaoru-Chan?” Honey asked innocently
Mori shrugged his shoulders at his cousin.
“I do believe we should!” Tam
